Frequently Asked Questions

Everything you need to know about World Time Hub and its three free time tools.

General
Yes, completely free. No sign-up, no subscription, no hidden costs. All three tools are sustained by non-intrusive Google AdSense advertising so they can remain free for everyone, forever.
World Time Hub currently includes three tools:

๐ŸŒ World Time Now โ€” an interactive 3D globe showing live local times for every city on Earth, updated every second.

๐Ÿ• Find Time Overlaps โ€” a 24-hour timezone scheduler that shows working hours for multiple cities simultaneously and highlights shared overlap windows.

๐Ÿ“… Holiday Overlap โ€” a tool that cross-references public holiday calendars for 60+ countries to find shared holiday dates.
World Time Hub uses your device's system clock combined with the browser's native Intl.DateTimeFormat API to compute local times for each location. If your device clock is accurate (which it typically is via NTP sync), times will be accurate to the second.
No. World Time Hub does not request, access, or transmit your precise location. Your current timezone is detected entirely by your browser. City searches use the OpenStreetMap geocoding API โ€” we do not log these queries. See our Privacy Policy.
Find Time Overlaps Tool
Search and add any cities from around the world. The tool draws a 24-hour UTC timeline for each city and highlights working hours (9amโ€“5pm local by default, fully adjustable). Golden cells show hours where all added cities are simultaneously within working hours โ€” your ideal meeting window.
Yes. Use the "From" and "To" hour inputs above the timeline to set any working hours range you like. The timeline and shared overlap windows update instantly. This is useful for teams that work shifts or non-standard hours.
There's no hard limit. You can add as many cities as you need. The timeline scales to show all of them. In practice, 2โ€“6 cities gives the clearest view of overlap windows.
Holiday Overlap Tool
Over 60 countries are covered across all continents โ€” including the US, UK, Australia, Canada, Germany, France, Japan, India, Brazil, South Africa, Singapore, UAE and many more. Search by country name to find yours.
Holiday data is available from 2025 through 2028, allowing you to plan well ahead for international projects, contracts, and annual planning cycles.
